I am Zikomo Joseph and I'm in my last year at the Han University of Applied Sciences in Arnhem, Netherlands, where I study International Business. Additionally, I am an intern at Europechain. I've worked at Europechain for about two months now, and I'm getting my hands as dirty as I can, working with Non-Fungible Tokens. Europechain works with the Atomichub Platform, and partners with R2 Collectibles so it's a really fun experience and there is a lot of room for personal and professional growth!
I just passed my defence for my thesis: “Record Labels creating value in a decentralised record industry.“
LEAD was perhaps one of the first educational experiences I had where I felt like my input actually mattered. The small size of the institution back then meant a closer relationship to the professors, and some of the out-of-the-classroom discussions I had, were key to developing into the person I am today.
I would recommend LEAD to future entrepreneurs and self-starters. If you want to simply sit down, plug in, and get a piece of paper, then go elsewhere. If you believe a piece of paper makes you special in the global workforce (spoiler: it doesn’t), then go elsewhere. But if you want to experience a growing organization and work in close approximation to driven professionals like Mr. Vital, then LEAD might be the choice for you. You won’t have a prestigious institution’s name on your diploma, but you might get some perspective, which is far more important in a global economy where initiative, entrepreneurial mindset and practical thinking far outweigh grades.
