Our tutors and lecturers are all highly qualified and bring to the classroom, many years of industry experience. Eighty-two (82%) are trained and qualified teachers, 18% hold PhD’s or are in the process of doing so, and almost half (46%) have master’s degrees. The remaining 36% all possess undergraduate degrees. Thus, education at lead Institute is both robust and relevant.
We are located at 5th Avenue, Madrelle, Loubiere, one of the safest communities in Dominica. It is less than a five (5) minute drive from the capital city, Roseau. Our campus is safe and student friendly. Classrooms are intimate but not overcrowded. Students have access to high-speed internet, wifi, a reference library, computer lab, multipurpose science lab and a canteen.
More than 95% of our students graduate at the end of two years and go on to distinguish themselves in the marketplace and institutions of higher learning around the world. Lead Institute alumni are currently enrolled at UWI, and four-year colleges and universities in Canada, the US, UK, Europe et al. Others serve in such areas as educators, lawyers, law enforcement, banking and Finance, military, supply chain managers, retail, software engineers etc.
