I graduated from Lead Institute in 2015 where I pursued nine CAPE subjects, over a period of two years; at the end of which, I was awarded an Associate Degree in General Studies. My time at Lead Institute was filled with a great mix of learning and fun, where I had knowledgeable and prepared teachers as well as amazing classmates who made the two years even more enjoyable.

The CAPE Associate Degree offered by Lead Institute was a seamless transition from CSEC and a great bridge into university level. After successfully completing CAPE, I was accepted into the bachelor’s programme in the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of the West Indies, St Augustine Campus in Trinidad and Tobago.

After three years, I graduated with First Class Honours in Management Studies with a double minor in Finance and Marketing. During my three years of study, I also maintained my name on the Dean’s list.

I am currently working as a Finance Graduate Trainee in the Treasury and Risk Department of an oil and gas company in Trinidad and Tobago and cannot wait for more opportunities to come by.
