…Lead paved the way for me to begin the journey to achieving my career goals and …I encourage any student hoping to pursue their dream career to start their journey at Lead…
My name is Jawole Joseph, and I am a proud alumna of the Lead Institute. My two years spent at Lead Institute were nothing short of memorable, exciting, and valuable. Having a passion for the environment as well as for business and wanting to find a career through which I could help companies be more sustainable, I was thrilled at the opportunity to expand my knowledge not only in business management, economics, and communication, but also in environmental science and geography.
In 2015, I graduated with the honour of Class Valedictorian and successfully attained my CXC CAPE Diploma. Without the CAPE certifications, I would not have been able to then start pursuing my Bachelor in (Business) Communication in the Netherlands, at the HAN University of Applied Sciences. After four successful years of combining theoretical knowledge with dual practical internships at international companies, I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in the summer of 2020.
Since then, I have been working as International Recruitment Officer at the Van Hall Larenstein University, also in the Netherlands, and aim to pursue a Master in Global Business and Sustainability next year.
Lead Institute paved the way for me to begin the journey to achieving my career goals and helped me form friendship bonds that, even now, are stronger than ever. I am grateful for the possibilities opened to me within those two years and can only encourage any student hoping to pursue their dream career to start their journey at Lead Institute as well.
