…my time at Lead had a positive and direct impact on my current educational and career path…the CAPE degree has even allowed me the opportunity of being accepted…

"Hi! I am an aspiring medical student who currently holds a diploma in Biomedical Equipment Technology (UTT). I am also a certified Emergency Medical Technician.

At the end of both courses, I graduated as the most outstanding student among my colleagues.

I do believe my time at Lead Institute had a direct impact on my current educational and career path. The CAPE Associate Degree is globally recognized as a mark of higher education, and while most other Caribbean islands have it incorporated as “sixth form”, Lead Institute was able to provide opportunities similar to those of the wider Caribbean.

For me personally, my CAPE degree has even allowed me the opportunity of being accepted to a few medical schools in the Caribbean, and even some as far as Ukraine.

And currently, CXC is communicating with universities in the US to allow the CAPE degree to be used without having to take the SAT or other exams.

I would fully recommend Lead Institute as the best school of choice on the island. It is at the forefront of offering a level of education that will definitely be an advantage in the long run, especially for students who are interested in exploring higher education internationally.”
