The Associate of Arts – Accounts prepares you for entry level accounting jobs. Upon completion of your two-year course of study, you will be able to face prospective employers with confidence and a firm command of accounting principles and practices.
Accounting Learning Outcomes. You will:
- Gain an understanding of accounting principles and real-world practices.
- Cultivate the technical skillset and reporting know-how for the financial marketplace.
- Explore how resources are forecasted, budgeted, and applied to businesses.
- Learn fundamental taxation concepts and principles.
- Develop the critical reasoning and investigative abilities required for auditing.
- Learn how to use applications such as Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks.
