Combined majors in Physics & Chemistry will allow you to develop the analytical and problem-solving skills so that when you’re ready, you will transfer into your chosen field of science, be it entry-level chemistry position, graduate school, pre-med, pre-engineering or pre-physician’s assistant.
Natural Sciences - Option #1 Learning Outcomes. You will:
- Acquire understanding and knowledge of technological and scientific applications of Physics and chemistry
- Demonstrate an awareness and understanding of natural phenomena and chemical processes that affect this region.
- Appreciate, understand, and use the scientific method in the solving of problems.
- The development of rational and ethical attitudes and behaviours in the application of Physics and chemistry.
- Develop the spirit of inquiry in order to continue the search for new ways in which the resources of our environment can be used in a sustainable way
