The Associate of Arts – History gives you a strong interdisciplinary foundation. Students will use critical thinking skills in understanding and analyzing the past and how historical events, issues and human activity over time has changed our world today. Understanding the past will allow students to positively engage and contribute to society as informed citizens.
History Learning Outcomes. You will:
- Successfully complete a diverse curriculum of courses.
- Exhibit an understanding of the connection between historical events, ideas, civic and cultural issues.
- Learn how historical events, issues and human activity over time has shaped our world today.
- Explain how moral, religious, and ethical developments relate to historical study.
- Express historical ideas fluently, logically, and coherently in a variety of forms and contexts.
